Excellent book on a subject rarely covered with modern science

Excellent book on a subject rarely covered with modern science. However, I did take exception to the tiny paragraph afforded on the topic of vasectomy. Perhaps a breeder may not understand the actual needs of the puppy owner: the VAST majority of breeders REQUIRE some type of permanent contraception, as do MOST EVERY trainer, school, kennel, playdate etc. Why would not vasectomy fully solve the problem of social acceptance and satisfy breeder mandate, while retaining male hormones?
