Do your puppies Demand to Win?

What makes a “show dog” is that attitude that just dares the judge not to put him up - and that’s something that can be taught, if you start early and focus on the right things.

This film will show you how to teach killer free stacks with the undeniable confidence that will stand out in the show ring!

This series is mostly demonstrated by our 6-7 week old puppies but is suitable for any beginning show dog of any age.

Also perfect for “re-treads” on show dogs who lack sparkle in the ring.

In part one, we demonstrate teaching the free stack with a litter of 6 week old puppies with varying degrees of experience, so you can see the entire process up through walking into the stack and teaching the puppy to allow you to set feet. Also included are demonstrations with an adult show dog and a 9 month old puppy.

In part two, we see the next steps with the puppies at 7 weeks. We focus on adding a leash, moving in front of the puppy, holding the stack for slightly longer periods, teaching the release, and examining mouths.

Two episodes included - 118 minutes.

Great stuff, less than stellar audio

While the CONTENT of the videos is great, the instruction could be more deliberate and better edited. This is understandable given the live format it was originally done in and it is great to see, but it doesn't really do as well for a stand-alone course. I'd be delighted to see a redo for instruction for capturing free stacks in puppies in a more intentionally edited form as a course without the "live" feel.

Unfinished

I am a professional dog trainer but know very little about conformation. I thought this video would be a great step by step guide to teach a “Killer free stack”. To me the video is unfinished and only teaches baby pups to stand with a hand signal. I think the name is a misleading and the training incomplete. I have the puppy culture dvds so I expected more from this and was disappointed with the purchase.

I would recommend you purchase the whole series for confirmation which is the show training bundle which includes both the Stack and Deliver and Winning in Motion. I would be disappointed too if I expected that just learning how to free stack your puppy would cover everything thing you would need to be profeciant in the show ring. That is why we created the show bundle.

Excellent for Choe Chow’s

Tris training works perfectly for my Chow Chows. I’m interested to know if Puppy Culture has a suggestion on when stacking for conformation, when do you stop stacking a puppy on table and transition to a low ramp or on the ground.

Killer Free Stacks

I think this is a great way of training a free stack. I have been successful with one of my Australian Shepherd girls that I started training as soon as I brought her home. I am now about to start with her litter of pups as we will be keeping one to show.
