SHIPPING POLICY

US Domestic Shipping Policy

At this time, Puppy Culture ships merchandise to locations within the United States and U.S. territories, including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, and the US Virgin Islands via USPS, FedEx and UPS. When choosing either "Flat Shipping" or "Free Shipping," Puppy Culture will use, at their discretion, the carrier of their choice.

 

US Domestic Lost Shipment Policy

Puppy Culture will notify you by e-mail that your order has shipped.  If after an appropriate period elapses and your package appears to be lost in transit, please notify us by e-mail linnea@pigsflydogs.com. We will do our best to track down your package to its last scan point, and determine the cause of the delay.

USPS

If choosing First Class Mail with Delivery Confirmation and Tracking, it is possible to track and locate a so-called "lost package." If we determine that a package was not delivered due to our error, we will send a replacement shipment at no additional cost to you.

If instead the loss was due to an error on the part of the customer, Puppy Culture will send a replacement shipment for DVD's with cost of $5.00 per DVD (disc), plus applicable shipping and handling fees. All other products will be replaced at retail.

 

International Shipping Policy

Puppy Culture ships merchandise to International destinations using International FedEx as our primary (and typically least expensive for the customer) option.

FEDEX INTERNATIONAL DOOR TO DOOR allows us to offer you affordable rates on low weight packages for shipping internationally by leveraging the destination country’s postal service. 

With Door to Door service, you get global tracking from FedEx International Mail View, which uses 7 bar code scans throughout your shipment’s journey to allow you to track its status. You’ll know when it’s leaving the U.S., entering the foreign market, arriving on your doorstep, and more steps in between.

Door to Door Transit time is typically 7 to 14 business days from FedEx pickup to handoff to the destination country postal service. Date of final delivery to the recipient depends on the destination postal service and varies by country and service selected.

FEDEX INTERNATIONAL ECONOMY or PRIORITY are the faster choices for international shipping. If you choose FedEx International Economy (4 - 7 business days)  or  FedEx International Priority (1 - 4 business days) you should not be assessed additional duty or taxes at time of delivery.

**INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING TO CANADA**

We are required to collect Duty and Tax for every sale we make into Canada. Depending on the type of shipping service you choose, USPS (United States Postal Service) or FedEx International Door to Door (7 - 14 business days), you could be charged Duty and Tax AGAIN at the time of delivery. 

Methods for Reimbursement 

Under certain conditions, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) will refund or adjust the following duties and taxes on non-commercial (casual) goods imported into Canada:

  • Customs duties;
  • Levies collected under the Special Import Measures Act (SIMA);
  • Goods and services tax (GST);
  • Harmonized sales tax (HST);
  • Provincial sales tax (PST); and
  • Provincial tobacco and alcohol taxes.

To request a refund or adjustment of duties and taxes for non-commercial goods, complete Form B2G, CBSA Informal Adjustment Request Form and mail it, along with the required supporting documentation, to the appropriate Casual Refund Centre as specified on the form. How to avoid being charged duties and tax at time of delivery

If you choose FedEx International Economy (4 - 7 business days)  or  FedEx International Priority (1 - 4 business days) you should not be assessed additional duty or taxes at time of delivery.  If you encounter additional duty or tax charges using FedEx International Economy (4 - 7 business days)  or  FedEx International Priority (1 - 4 business days)  please contact us so we can remedy the problem.

 

International Lost Shipment Policy

Puppy Culture will notify you by e-mail that your order has shipped.  If after an appropriate period elapses and your package appears to be lost in transit, please notify us by e-mail sales@pigsflydogs.com.  We will do our best to track down your package to its last scan point, and determine the cause of the delay.

We offer several different shipping options with different delivery guarantees.  If we determine that a package was not delivered due to our error, we will send a replacement shipment at no additional cost to you. 

USPS

When choosing International First Class Mail with Delivery Confirmation and Tracking, it is possible to track and locate a so-called "lost package" but be advised that this service is not always available in some countries and therefore we can not offer replacement shipping. Again, FedEx is the most reliable for International Shipping. If you wish to be completely certain that you will receive your order - and be able to track it - then we encourage you to use FedEx.  The reliability and timely service is unmatched as we can track your package to the destination.
